Glen Oak Country Club captures 2010 Women's Scuttle Championship
Team Champions: Roz Stahl, Linda Brodbeck, Marlene Smith, and Sam Weaver.
Clarks Summit, PA - Glen Oak Country Club captured the 2010 Anthracite Golf Association Women’s Coal Scuttle Championship by posting a team total of 254 good enough for a one shot victory over a fine Huntsville Golf Club team. The Huntsville women playing with only 3 players on the day posted a 255 total.
Sam Weaver paced the Glen Oak Country Club team with a round of 83. Rounding out the scoring for the winning team were Roz Stahl 84, Marlene Smith 87, and Linda Brodbeck 90.
Defending champion and host Country Club of Scranton finished third with a team total of 257.
Porntipa “O” Mukdasatit of Huntsville Golf Club shot an impressive 79 to capture the individual honors by four shots over Sam Weaver of Glen Oak Country Club who finished with a round of 83. Rounding out the top spots were , Roz Stahl, Glen Oak Country ... more
